Operation
Key features:
- Synchronous heating of all the zones despite the different thermal inertia: the delay in the heating start of the nozzles is no more required.
- Autoslave in case of TC failure: each zone can be linked to another with similar thermal behaviour. This is a more accurate alternative to the open loop mode (manual mode)
- Plastic leakage alarm: with a continuous monitoring of the power consumption, the leakage from a nozzle is detected and major damage due to the plastic leakage can be avoided
- Collective modification: temperature setting and all the control and alarms parameters can be modified at once on all the zones by pressing a button on the frontal panel
- Immediate and complete diagnostic: 6 led per zone indicate all the possible failures in the heating loop. In detail the controller recognizes and displays: thermocouple errors (breaking and inverted connection), fuse, heater and solid state relay faults, phase voltage missing
- 16 A max. per zone (3500 W) also contemporary, thanks to the high performance, self ventilated heat sink
- Heaters drying with single phase modulation
- Output powers are not synchronous in order to avoid peaks in power supply line
- 2 independent set points
In addition the TH-M6 controller has the following optional functions:
- Interconnection of two temperature controllers: the connected zones will follow the same incremental temperature ramp
- Remote connection between serial port RS-485
- Digital inputs - outputs for alarms and enabling control towards the press and others auxiliary devices

Operational modes
- Tune : The controller performs a calibration sequence of its regulation parameters
- Soft Start : During this phase, the power supply is limited to a maximum value, for a definite period.
- Automatic (closed loop) : The power supplied on the heating elements is automatically set by the controller.
- Manual (percentage): The controller supplies on the heating elements the power set by the operator
- Slave : The controller supplies on the heating elements the same power as the master zone (selected by the operator)
