Use
Thermoplay’s Sequential Control Unit allows to control shut-off nozzles according to complex logics, determined through numeric simulation or through empirical adjustments carried out on ground.

Overview
The new sequential controller is designed to optimize the molding process in critical thermoplastics applications. Each shut off valve is detected and controlled by the system, so the end product is without welding lines, stress or weaken, thus meeting the most strict quality standards. With a compact size, this unit is easy to handle and transport. All the elctronic circuits are plug-in boards for easy maintenance. A programmable touch screen unit is available for the operator to set, control and monitor the molding process.

• Sequential control of pneumatic and hydraulic shut off valve systems (up to 2A current for each output)
• Automatic and manual test operation for the functional control of each single valve

• Simultaneous closure of all the shut off valves
• Non simultaneous closure of the shut off valves
• All the shut off valves open during the packing phase
• Automatic zeroing of the position transducer measurement at the end of the dosage; it simplifies installation and use
• Operation without the mobile panel even at start-up
• Modification of the operating parameters in “AUTO” mode without shut down the production
• Handling of recipes and users
• Export and import of recipes from USB memory stick
• Synoptic view configuration of mold cavity shape, shut off valves position, by operator directly on board; synoptic configurations are stored in the recipes
