Bolted down ELS manifolds

The new bolted down manifolds have been developed in order to further improve the thermal performances of injection systems, while getting more homogeneous temperature distribution.
The overall dimensions of the manifold are more compact and maintenance due to worn components and possible leakages are reduced.

The bolted down manifolds are available with or without heater covers, and can be configured with TF12 – TF17 – TF23 and TD18 nozzles. They are provided only with heater covers in combination with the TD22 nozzles.

The pressure pads, located between manifold and back plate, have been eliminated and replaced by tightening screws, with the following benefits:

  • improved safety against the risk of leakages due to wrong process parameters (cold starts, interruption of the cooling system in the hot half plates).
  • decrease of power consumption.
  • eliminate the transfer of mechanical stress from the injection system to the mould.
  • more homogeneous temperature distribution in the hot half plates.

The new compact design of the bolted down manifolds and the injection bushing allows to decrease the overall dimension of the injection system by 40% approximately.

  • Manifold height: 32 mm
  • Valve gate actuator: yes/no
  • Valve gate interaxes: 80 to 400 mm
  • Manifold height with valve gate height: 44 mm
  • Heater covers: for TF12-TF17-TF23-TD18: yes/no - for TD22: yes

The Webcreator allows to configure bolted down injection systems with 1, 2 and 4 nozzles. Configurations over 4 nozzles are possible only on demand.
In addition, together with the configuration made with the Webcreator, the list of spare parts is also sent as attached.
